Frequently Asked Questions

The Midlife Body Reset

Not at all. In fact, feeling stiff or less mobile is one of the reasons many people come to me. You don't need to touch your toes or be "good at yoga". We work with the body you have now and gradually help it move more freely.

Wear something comfortable that you can move and relax in — leggings, joggers and a comfortable top are perfect. Mats and props are provided, although you're welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

The Midlife Body Reset has been created with the changing needs of women in midlife in mind. It's about maintaining strength and mobility, supporting recovery, reducing tension and creating more opportunity for genuine rest.

You don't need to be experiencing any particular symptoms or be at a particular stage. If the approach resonates with you, you're welcome.

Yes. Midlife can bring changes to sleep, recovery, energy, mobility and how your body feels from day to day. My approach is gentle and adaptable, so you're encouraged to work with how your body feels rather than pushing through it.

Absolutely. You don't need to get fit before you start. The sessions are designed to meet you where you are, and you can work at your own pace. For some people, a one-to-one session can also be a lovely way to rebuild confidence before joining a group.

The class combines gentle yoga, mobility work, longer-held stretches, breathwork, sound and deep relaxation. It's deliberately slower and gives your body time to release rather than rushing from one pose to another.

Think of it as 90 minutes to switch off, move your body and properly reset.

It depends on the injury and where you are in your recovery. One-to-one sessions can be adapted around your individual needs, but if you're currently receiving medical treatment or physiotherapy, please check with your healthcare professional before starting.

You're also welcome to contact me before booking so we can discuss whether a class or private session would be more appropriate.

No. The retreats are intentionally small, with a maximum of four people, so they're perfect for a group of friends, sisters or family who want to come away together.

Retreat dates can also be arranged to suit your group.

Your retreat includes accommodation, restorative yoga, breathwork, organised coastal walks, breakfast and lunch, plus plenty of time to relax and enjoy Rock and the surrounding area.

Evening meals aren't included, so you have the freedom to explore local restaurants or make your own plans in the evening.

Prices start from £600 per person.
